It was implemented by CapeNature, a conservation authority in Western Cape, South Africa, to handle their tourism operations across 32 Nature Reserves. From 2000 to 2015, ResByWeb won five competitive tenders and helped CapeNature establish a successful ecotourism organization. ResByWeb enabled CapeNature to manage all the guest-related and financial aspects of their business, as well as to set up an efficient Call Center. ResByWeb played a key role in the administration of 17 Nature Reserves owned by ECPTA, Eastern Cape, from 2006 to 2012. This tender was issued by SANParks, one of the world's leading eco-tourism organizations, which operates 18,000 accommodation units across South Africa. Out of 28 companies that applied for this tender, only ResByWeb and another company met the technical and business requirements, passed the proof-of-concept presentation, and completed the site visit. This proves that ResByWeb is not only a reliable and versatile tourism business manager, but also a strong candidate for large-scale projects that require innovative and sustainable solutions.
